What is Burst Deep?
A larger 40-pin tip reaching the deepest targeted RF energy in the Morpheus8 family. Designed for body areas and advanced laxity — abdomen, arms, thighs, flanks — and for cellulite and deep wrinkles.
Does it hurt?
With topical numbing, most patients describe pressure and warmth rather than pain. Bony areas like the jawline and forehead are most sensitive. We adjust depth and energy throughout.
How much downtime is there?
Redness and mild swelling for one to three days, comparable to a moderate sunburn. Most people return to work immediately and wear makeup after 24 to 48 hours.
How many treatments will I need?
Facial rejuvenation commonly takes one to three sessions, four to six weeks apart. Acne scarring, body areas, and significant laxity require more. Your physician gives you a real number, not a package pitch.
When will I see results?
Some change within days. The most noticeable results appear around three weeks as new collagen forms, continuing for up to three months after your final session.
Is Morpheus8 safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. RF energy isn’t absorbed by pigment the way laser energy is, and insulated needles protect the epidermis. Used across Fitzpatrick I through VI with substantially lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation than ablative lasers.
Can it treat acne scars?
Acne scarring is one of its strongest indications. Multi-depth delivery treats superficial, mid-dermal, and deep scarring in the same session. Most patients need a series.
Can it tighten loose skin after Ozempic or weight loss?
Yes, and Burst Deep was designed for it. We recommend waiting until your weight has been stable for a period before treating, so the result holds.
Can Morpheus8 replace a facelift?
No, and anyone claiming otherwise is misleading you. Morpheus8 tightens and remodels skin; a facelift repositions tissue. For mild to moderate laxity it can meaningfully delay surgery. For significant sagging, surgery is the honest answer.
